Gala dinner

Tuesday, 10th November - Crown Plaza Hotel, SW1

The Annual Dinner of the British Moroccan Society was held at The Crown Plaza Hotel on Tuesday 10 November 2009 at 7.30 for 8.00pm in the presence of HH Princess Lalla Joumala Alaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Court of St James’s. Our guest speaker was the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts Mr. Mohammed Bousaid.

Cost: £22.50 This includes a 3 course meal, water and mint tea (there is no alcohol at Marrakech Lounge) and a small donation to our charities.


Charity Trek

Trek in the wild, volcanic and challenging Saghro Massif
25 April 2010 to 2 May 2010

British-Moroccan Society trek in the Atlas Mountains 2009
Charity trek, 10-17 May 2009:
The trek in the Atlas mountains proved very successful : all 11 members of the group made it to the top of Jebel Toubkal ( 4160m), including 71 year old John Wolfe, a long standing member of the BMS.
